Character Claims

Post to claim a slot. Your post format should be something like Category - Emotion - Territory. Ex: "Rovina - Anger - Ameri"

When a slot is filled, it will be updated in the list. If there are no names or territories beside the emotion you want, assume it is empty.

Character Guidelines

Character Appearance
- Each character should carry a large syringe (minimum 10 inches in length, but can be any size) with which to administer his or her emotion drug. This drug should have a colour.

- The setting of the world is futuristic and your character's outfit should reflect that. Of course, he or she should have an individual style but overall it should fit roughly into said theme.

- Remember that the character should lack the emotion they sell, and their outfit choice should roughly reflect that. However, it should be obvious what emotion they're selling so that passers-by could potentially approach them and ask for a dose of said emotion.

- Each character should have a tattoo somewhere on their body with their barcode, emotion, and territory written on it. Here is a boring example.

- Applications must be fullbody and shaded in some way. Traditional is fine as long as it's scanned cleanly.

Territory Information

The world at the time of E.S.LE
Due to the amount of wars fought, the majority of the countries that we know in the 21st century have merged, creating just 3 "countries" that, in some cases, stretch over several continents.

These countries are Ameri, Aeuro, and Astir.

Ameri
Ameri is the merger of North America, South America, and Antarctica. English is the official language of Ameri.

Aeuro
Aeuro is the merger of Europe and Africa. French is the official language of Aeuro.

Astir
Astir is the merger of Asia (including Russia), Australia (and surrounding countries such as New Zealand). Mandarin is the official language of Astir.

While each country has their own official language, English is spoken worldwide and is used in international meetings.

E.S.LE Territories
The W.E.I. distributed one E.S.LE member per emotion per country (a total of 20 per country.) As there is monetary gain from selling emotions, E.S.LE members are prohibited from selling their products outside of the country they were assigned to.

If an E.S.LE member catches another member selling the same emotion as them in their territory, they are permitted to inject said member with their own drug, effectively ending their "life." (This works because E.S.LE members are vulnerable only to the drug they sell -- they can't be killed by those selling different emotions from their own.) If this happens, W.E.I. creates a replacement.

Role List

The group is invite-only. Excluding the founder, 59 members will be invited to the group. They can then choose a slot in any emotion category that isn't already full. 3 members per emotion.

The E.S.LE members are divided into two categories, Valedita and Rovina. The members in Valedita sell "good" emotions (such as love and hope) but conversely are the more evil members of the organization since they lack said emotions. The members in Rovina sell "bad" emotions (such as hate and disgust) but are the kinder members of the organization as they are also incapable of feeling the emotions the sell.

With the other members of the group that share your emotion, you may at times be asked to participate in events together. While characters that share the same emotion do not have to get along, they should recognize eachother and respect eachother's territory.

E.S.LE Overview

The year 3018. Humanity has become too desensitized to everything. Everything is boring. Pain is boring. Hate is boring. Even love is boring. People are constantly fed more and more shocking images, in an attempt to get things to sink in -- adverts, political messages, army propaganda. None of it has any meaning anymore.

As humans become increasingly less able to have opinions of their own and come up with their own ideas, computers have begun to think for themselves. W.E.I. - Worldwide Entropy Intelligence, has emerged as the world's smartest computer, with rational and reasonable artificial intelligence.

To cope with humanity's problem, W.E.I. created the E.S.LE - the Emotion Supplement League. A group of humanoid androids, the members of the E.S.LE can deliver emotions in a concentrated form to human customers. They do this using hypodermic syringes and needles, extracting the drug from their own "blood". This blood is, however, merely a fluid that runs through their artificial veins. Immortal, un-aging, and with superhuman speed, strength, and intelligence, these androids have only one flaw - they are missing the emotion that they sell, and if they use the drugs on themselves, they will be shut down.
